The Sound Wall is now offering classes. This is a great opportunity for you to work directly with Rob & Jen Slocumb of Martha’s Trouble. Classes will be held on Monday’s & Tuesdays beginning January 14, 2019 and will run for 6 weeks. The classes currently offered are Vocal Performance, Songwriting, and Organized Noise. Acoustic Guitar class meets weekly on Mondays & Tuesdays and you will work one on one with Rob Slocumb of Martha’s Trouble.
Guitar from Scratch (or Scratch and a Half) (Beginners, Beginners, Beginners)
Exercises: Learn how to get your fingers in shape.
Strumming: Flat Pick? Fingers? We’ll explore the options.
Chords: Play and sing a few songs in the keys of C, G, D, A and E.
Have you played guitar for a while, know some chords, maybe, but haven’t figured out how to progress or gain fulfillment from playing music? This class is for you. Let’s overcome whatever stumbling blocks you’ve faced in getting from Point A to Point B, while having fun in the process.

Vocal Performance class meets weekly for (1) hour on Mondays and you will work with Jen Slocumb of Martha’s Trouble.
The vocal performance class will help you find your own voice, using your voice as instrument and develop your true sound. Jen will work with you on stage performance, connecting with an audience and keeping true to your own style. Regardless if you are a seasoned pro or have no experience, all are welcome.

Songwriting class meets weekly for (1) hour on Tuesdays and you will work with Rob & Jen Slocumb of Martha’s Trouble.
Our goal is to create an environment for you to find your inspiration, effectively put your ideas to song, refine your songwriting and co-writing skills, overcome what holds back your self expression and leave with the ability to write better songs. Amazing things happen when we show up for ourselves. It doesn’t matter if you’ve written thousands of songs or looking to write your first, all are welcome!

What do all of these buttons do? From the studio to the stage, we'll talk about those buttons and how they'll become your best friend when you're creating. From studio techniques that will bring your recordings to life, to getting that squeal out of the monitor, you'll learn about the tools to help you get the job done.
